The HYDREX Rhino offers:

The following pumps are used on our firefighting units:

• High Pressure.
  • 22L/min max flow and 40 bar max pressure.
  • 42 L/min max flow and 40 bar max pressure.

These are 3-piston pumps, belt driven @ 800 - 1000rpm. All our pumps are equipped with automatic unloader valves by which pressure can be regulated to suit the application. The pumps are self priming and can run dry without damaging the seals. These pumps are manufactured and being used in agriculture and fire prevention for the last +- 40 years.

We mainly use Diamond brand pumps, but we also use Ruby, which is identical to the diamond pump.( Same Factory) We stock a whole range of spares to ensure service back-up and we are also equipped with a workshop for any repairs or service on these pumps and the Honda engines which are normally used on our firefighters.

Basic Specification Single Hose Reel:

Tank:

Polyethylene, low profile step tank. Tank is UV stabilised. A 450mm ventilated lid ensures easy refilling. Tank will be red with a black liner to restrict algae growth. Built in Baffels

Pump:

Piston Pump capable of delivering 22l per minute and has a max pressure of 40bar. An automatic up loader valve regulates pressure. Pump can run dry without damaging seals or plungers.

Engine:

5,5 Hp Honda 4 stroke with oil alert. (No “Grey products” are used).

Nozzles:

1 x 20m High pressure hose is provided on a hose reel. Pistol type variable spray gun can be adjusted from fog spray to solid stream. Gun connected to hose via heavy-duty quick coupler.

General:

Pump and engine mounted on anti-vibration rubbers.
