Uni-safe Plus

Uni-Safe Plus is a universal, unique, quality chemical and oil binder, developed by the German chemical industry in close co-operation with fire brigades and spill response specialists.

The unique composition of the products will not react with any chemicals, even with strongly reactive & oxidizing substances such as nitric acid, sulphuric acid, hydrogen peroxide and others. The products have without a doubt, the highest binding and absorption rate, if compared to other products on the market. The main component of Uni-Safe Plus is a polymer, which can bind liquids up to seventy five times its net weight.

2 Grams of Uni-Safe Plus can absorb 150ml of water.

Uni-Safe Plus can be applied to all kinds of accidental spills on land without restriction. Active results are achieved in seconds. The product absorbs un aqueous substances through its capillary action and aqueous substances are bound in a chemical physical process.

The product takes on the weight of the liquid and forms an efficient barrier, therefore the liquids are stopped from spreading further, eg. into the sewage or drainwater system.

Emissions

Emissions are blocked. Uni-Safe Plus acts as an emission blocker. It creates a "steam barrier" protecting people and the environment. Even in case of contact with Chlorsulfic Acid fumes will stop immediately.

Environment

Neither the production of the product or the disposal of Uni-Safe Plus has any proven negative influence on the environment.

Removal of Oil Traces

The product was found extremely useful for the clearing of contaminated hard surfaces. No Matter if it is oil, paint, or other sediments, the Uni-Safe Plus mixed with a little water removes most stubborn traces.

Product Removal

The removal of the product is simple.The mixture of the dangerous liquid and the product can easily be swept, shoveled, picked up or pumped away. The correct disposal method depends on the type of dangerous liquid dealt with.

Rainy Conditions

Again, Uni-Safe Plus does not have a problem. The product binds and absorbs dangerous substances with rain water.

Costs

Despite the higher purchase costs of the product compared to ordinary not so effective binders, the extreme absorption power, moderate volume growth, minimizes disposal quantity and decreases overall costs.

Indicator

The indicator function of the Uni-Safe Plus product is a great advantage for any emergency team on site. While aiding in the safe and controlled disposal of the dangerous substances.

Upon contact with acids, the product will change its light green colour to YELLOW.
Upon contact with alkaline's the product will change its light green colour to RED.

Handling of the Product

The handling of the product is extremely easy, simply apply the product by hand or make use of various spreading devices offered by Tempest Fire:
