Conventional Control Panels & Gas Control Units are key devices when installing a basic fire protection system.
Tempest Fire offers 2 & 4 zone conventional fire panels that are easy to install and have proven reliability in the field.
Tempest Fire also supplies gas control/remote units that activate the pilot cylinder driving our Pyroshield/CO2 cylinders.
Control Panels

All zone and sounder circuits are monitored for open, short and earth fault conditions. These are also provided with lightning protection devices.
In addition to the two sounder outputs there are as standard, a fire brigade contact (voltage reversal), a change over alarm contact per zone, a common fire change over contact, a common fault change over contact, a switching auxiliary equipment isolator and individual zonal gas outputs.

Gas Control Units

Bell, siren, evacuation sign, manual release circuit and discharge outputs are monitored for short and open circuit faults. These circuits are provided with lightning protection. Repeater panels, status panels and datacom networks can be connected via the RS485 communications port
The first fire signal received will activate the bell contact, the second fire signal will activate the two initiate outputs and after a pre-set delay the discharge output. A keyswitch allows selection of manual or automatic modes. The unit features a keyswitch isolate function for commissioning, service and testing.
